Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell: Double At is an action-adventure stlth game, developed and published by Ubisoft. The series, endorsed by American author Tom Clancy, follows the character Sam Fisher, an at employed by a black-ops division of the National Security Acy, dubbed Third Echelon. Double At was relsed in 2006
In Sam Fisher's first next eration adventure, the splinter cell has a tragedy befall him. Shortly therfter, Sam's life collapses around him. He becomes more distant from Third Echelon. In fact, he even goes so far as to get himself arrested.
But it's all part of the plan. Sam Fisher is now a double at, working for both the NSA and a terrorist organization known as the JBA, or John Brown's Army. Sam is for the most part a good guy still. But will that remain? Will Sam do good for the NSA and bring the organization to justice, or will the lure of the terrorist group overpower and overcome Sam?
The choices you make affect that outcome. Moral questions will pop up in various places throughout the game. Do you shoot a prisoner to rn trust with the JBA, or do you hold off, keeping the NSA on your side? Whatever outcome you decide on, your trust with one will go down and the other will go up. This trust system is a new addition to Double At.
As part of the JBA, Sam must complete objectives set by them to gain their trust as well as complete objectives from the NSA. The decisions he has to make will become incrsingly difficult as he progresses through the game. rlier decisions, such as deciding whether or not to free all of the prisoners during the prison brkout, will just affect his score, but as the game progresses, Sam is faced with serious choices that could kill thousands if made wrong, but may blow his cover if he does not do it.
Despite this, Sam must make the JBA trust him. If he is seen in restricted ars before, it will dramatically affect his trust with the JBA. Similarly, if he is caught using an NSA gadget or picking a lock in JBA HQ, his cover will be blown on sight.
He is also watched by the JBA in most of his missions, if he is seen completing NSA objectives or is thought to be doing something out of the ordinary, his trust will go down. Killing people apart from those ordered to be taken out will affect his NSA trust in the same way.
